Things I like about the PSE Sidewinder XB Crossbow Package Crossbows: It came with four bolts with 100 gr. field points. This cross bow is extremely accurate once you zero it at 20 yards with the scope that comes with it. The scope has graduated 10 yard markings that were still dead on at 30 and 40 yards. I didn't bother to test the 50 yard marking as I'm not comfortable with a shot that far. Using a cocking assist rope (I hurt my right shoulder using a compound earlier in the year) makes it a breeze to ready this crossbow for action. The camouflage patter is excellent and blends in well with the surrounding. The safety locks on automatically into the safe position when the weapon is cocked. The quiver has a 'quick release' lever, so if you want to take it off once you get set up it only takes a moment to remove it.
What I don't like about the PSE Sidewinder XB Crossbow Package : The safety is a bit loud when your taking it off unless your carefull to move it to the 'fire' position very slowly.
Crossbows Sidewinder XB Crossbow Package quality: Excellent quality. Rugged and have had absolutely no issues with it yet.
Sidewinder XB Crossbow Package summary: I would recommend this crossbow to anyone. The accessories that it comes with make it read to shoot without buying any additonal items except for maybe a cocking assist rope and some rail grease, with the rope being optional. The price is excellent! I saw more expensive crossbows at other stores. They had a few more bells and whistles, but not more enough to justify the excessive pricing. Some of the others were $800.00 to well above $1,500.00! This price was way out of reach for the average hunter.
