Things I like about the NcStar 3/9 42 NcStar 3X9 rifle scope Rifle Scopes: Mounts easily on my Ruger SR 556 AR 15 rifle. Also can be easily and quickly taken off with the flip of a switch. I like the illuminated cross hair optics and the laser. The short length and sturdiness. And it looks cool on my AR 15. Much better looking than a normal size hunting scope.
What I don't like about the NcStar 3/9 42 NcStar 3X9 rifle scope: Eye relief could be better. One of the lens covers is stiff and will come off if not careful when opening.
Rifle Scopes NcStar 3X9 rifle scope quality: The scope seems to be very sturdy and is rubber coated. Locks into place quickly and is solid.
NcStar 3X9 rifle scope summary: For the money this is a very good choice for an AR 15 type rifle. The eye relief could be better sut it is sufficient. The 3X9 adjustment works easily and the laser is a nice addition. The illuminated cross hairs have 5 different brightness adjustments and are really good in low light conditions. I would give it a 4.
