Purchase: My wife's uncle got me this combo as a gift.
Things I like about the Eagle Claw Deluxe Eagle Baitcast Combo: Graphite rod is pretty sensitive. Good 6 foot length MH action.
What I don't like about the Eagle Claw Deluxe Eagle Baitcast Combo: The reel was crap. Backlashes could not be avoided and I'm very used to using baitcast reels. Many times if a the line would get caught between the spool and the reel frame. You can hear it grind when you retrieve. Although priced for a beginer, would not recomend for an expert.
Deluxe Eagle Baitcast Combo quality: 6 foot graphite rod, not sure of compositon. Most of reel plastic with a few graphite or metal parts. Spool seems to be made of graphite.
Deluxe Eagle Baitcast Combo summary: kept rod replaced reel.
