Things I like about the Buck Knives 694T Hunting Knives: I purchased this knife because I wanted something small and handy. I first purchased the Alpha hunter when I started hiking. I will never be caught without it in the mountains again.
What I don't like about the Buck Knives 694T: The overall knife is missing ergonomics. The handle does not cover the entire tang and it sometimes is a little uncomfortable to hold.
Hunting Knives 694T quality: the blade is 440 HC stainless steel with the option of cherry wood, walnut or rubber handle. The blade is a 3.75" drop point with grooves on the top of the tang to prevent slipping.
694T summary: Overall, I love the Alpha Hunter. Buck puts out top of the line knives and the Alpha Hunter continues the reputation. I have both the Cherry wood and the rubber handle. The rubber adds comfort and better grip. The wood handle gives the more classic look that buck has. I would recommend this knife to anyone who spends time in the wilderness.
