Purchase: Fishing Rods I bought this rod at a local tackle store which i have supported for years, i needed a new rod as the one i had was thieved out of my vehicle along with an okuma baitcaster, i paid 130$
Things I like about the Fenwick HMX 10'6" medium action casting rod Fishing Rods: I bought this rod for salmon and steelhead fishing common to the pacific northwest, used for float fishing rivers, this rod gives excellent feel to the slightest bump be it a fish or a rock on the bottom, also the power built into the Fenwick line has allowed for handling of fish up to 40#s in strong currents, also Fenwick offers a great stand behind policy to their products second to none.
What I don't like about the Fenwick HMX 10'6" medium action casting rod: Price is a little to high compared to other similar units available for this style of fishing, it has a status from local guides promoting their product which i think adds to the price
