Moulrie I40 Trail Cameras
Trail Cameras Manufacturer: Moulrie
Moulrie Model: I40
Review Category: Trail Cameras
Purchase: Trail Cameras Cabela's, Ft. Worth, two years ago. the cost then was about $200. I really liked th IR feature
Things I like about the Moulrie I40 Trail Cameras: Excellent day time photos.
What I don't like about the Moulrie I40: No multi-photo option. During heavy electrical storms the unit loses its digital display and it has to be sent back to the company at a fee of about $50 not counting shipping.
Trail Cameras I40 quality: The construction of the unit is very well for the most part however, the holders for the mounting strap will break off with little pressure. They should be made of metal rather than plastic.
I40 summary: After trying for to weeks to get my two units shipped and the fact that Moultrie's Customer Service will not respond, I will NEVER again purchase nor will I recommend their products. Even thought the day time picture quality is great the problems with the mounting brackets breaking and the display being damaged by storms need to be addressed so sportsmen can keep their units in the field. Moultrie deffinately needs more and better Customer Service.
