Purchase: Fishing Rods I was a beginner looking for a reasonably priced but well made combo. I purchased the NXT Combo for approx. $200 at a local gun & fly shop. TFO supports Project Healing Water which assists rehabilitation of our disabled military men & women.
Things I like about the TFO NXT Combo Fishing Rods: Easy to cast, even for a novice like me. Met all expectations and stoked interest in continuing to fly fish and at a reasonable price. During one of my back country trips, I broke the tip of the rod. TFO replaced the tip section of the rod promptly, no questions asked ($25).
What I don't like about the TFO NXT Combo: The case provided is a rod & real case. Since I hike into wilderness to fish, I prefer a standard rod case as its easier to strap to my backpack.
Fishing Rods NXT Combo quality: Well made and an attractive package.
NXT Combo summary: A great package for a beginner as all is provided for a reasonable price. Also, due to its quality, no need to upgrade as you improve because the combo can do all that's asked of it whatever the fishing conditions. The lifetime guarantee is a great plus, and it's true.
