Knives of Alaska Pronghorn Hunting Knives
Hunting Knives Manufacturer: Knives of Alaska
Knives of Alaska Model: Pronghorn
Review Category: Hunting Knives
Purchase: Hunting Knives Purchased from Cabelas magazine. Needed to replace my old knife. Price $79.99
Things I like about the Knives of Alaska Pronghorn Hunting Knives: This has to be one of the sharpest knives I have ever purchased. Scarry Sharp. I told a freind about how sharp it was, so he had purchased one. He had told me that on a Elk hunt in WA. state he had skinned three Elk without sharpening it.
What I don't like about the Knives of Alaska Pronghorn: The sheath seems to be good quality leather but it does not fit the knife very well. It can fall out of the sheath even while it is buckeled. A little bit hard to sharpen just because it is made of such hard steel.
Hunting Knives Pronghorn quality: It is made of D-2 Steel which is very hard and keeps a edge well. Do some research on the Rockwell Harness Scale. It has to be one of the sharpest knives I have ever purchased. The Quality Is Awessome.
Pronghorn summary: Since my purchase of the Pronghorn I loved it so much I went and purchased the Bush Camp model and the Cub Bear. The knives have a very comfirtable grip with no slipping. I will keep purchasing more Knives of Alaska until I have the entire set. I would recommend these knives to anyone who is willing to pay for a good quality knife.
