Purchase: Trail Cameras I had wanted one for along time and had told my wife, so she bought me one from wal mart and gave it to me. She said she paid $125.00 for the game camera. I do alot of hunting turkey,deer and others and a game camera was just what the doctor ordered.
Things I like about the Remington DGx5.0 Trail Cameras: It has a good water-proof case and latch. It also has a good mounting system and that is about it.
What I don't like about the Remington DGx5.0: everything else!! Poor instructions, Poor help, website said a download was there but there was not. Poor help line I don't want to talk to a computer I want some one live to discuss my problems and to solve them.

DGx5.0 summary: The camera has never worked right , Ihave done everything by the book sent to me but they must have left something out of the book. It will not take a picture. I walk in front of it and no picture. So I pulled the sd card out and put it in my computer it said not formatted so I tried to format the sd card it would not format thought I had found the problem. Replaced sd card, batteries took it to the woods deer tracks turkey tracks and 0 pictures. Reprogrammed it. As I was walking away it flashed thought it caught me walking away thought I have got it now but it just kept flashing every 2 to 3 minutes heat can ba a problem to theses cameras but temp was in the mid 60's. I have 28 pictures of woods it stopped and no more pictures. I am TOTALY DISCUSSED with this product and would not recommmend it to any one. A waste of money and as my wife lost she reciept that is all I have a piece of $125.00 junk. I am a avid hunter. I have more guns, fishing poles,and man toys as muy wife calls them than I need, but when I go to use them I expect them to perform if not I get rid of them and tell my friends how relilable the product is good or bad.
