Shakespeare Catera Fishing Reels
Fishing Reels Manufacturer: Shakespeare
Shakespeare Model: Catera
Review Category: Fishing Reels
Purchase: I bought this spinning reel from Dick's Sporting Goods. I was looking for a new reel to put on my 6'6" medium action rod. The reel cost $29.99.
Things I like about the Shakespeare Catera: I really like the smoothness that the Catera had in its casts. It also has a great feel during the retrieve. I also like it because it does not have the fast cast bail.
What I don't like about the Shakespeare Catera: The reel is extremely well made. I don't think that there is anything that I disklike about this reel.
Catera quality: The Catera that I bought is a 6 bearing spinning reel made for 6-10lb line. It may not be the most expensive reel, but for the money, it is a very good reel.
Catera summary: I used the reel for the first time today, and I did not have any problems with it. It cast good. It had a good feel in the retrieve. And I think I got a great deal on it.
