Things I like about the Hoyt Havoc Hunting Bows: The Hoyt Havoc is an Excellent shooting bow. It is short enough to stalk through the woods with and easily turns and moves to any position while up in a tree stand. If a bow is too long it might hit the stand or a limb when you shoot. I did not want an extremly short bow because the charictistics get kind of squirrly, a longer bow is more forgiving. I have taken 5 deer with the Hoyt in the last 3 seasons. All but one of my shots have been complete pass through shots. I'm shooting Carbon express arrows and Steel Force Sabertooth broadheads. The bow is fast and quiet. I did add limb savers and cat wiskers however.
What I don't like about the Hoyt Havoc : I think there are lighter bows out there but it is not a very big concern when I'm in a tree stand because the bow is in a holder. I did hold the bow at full draw for what seemed like forever for a buck last year to clear some brush and it got heavy, but any bow would if you held it long enough.
Hunting Bows Havoc quality: I have had no troubles with the bow at all. It is squeek and rattle free and nothing looks like troubles ahead. The camo on the bow is great and holds up well too.
Havoc summary: I'm sure I could be happier with one of the newest bows and all the technology over the last few years but am satisfied with the Hoyt Intruder. When it is time for a new bow someday I'll be looking at Hoyt first this time.
