Purchase: Calls Lures Scents In looking for a premier turkey call, I questioned veteran turkey hunters about what calls worked best for their hunting successes. I found that one name got mentioned over and over; WoodHaven. I called a local hunting supply store and luckily they carried their products. Now I know that Woodhaven products are carried by Bass Pro Shops. The price paid is almost a non-important fact after hearing, using, and finding that this call really produces. Yet, the call retails for $80 bucks.
Things I like about the Woodhaven Custom Calls Cherry Classic Crystal Calls Lures Scents: The call is first class. It produces very realistic hen sounds including yelps, clucks, excitied cackles, sweet purrs, and even lays out a very nice kee-kee. From day to day the call is very consistent and is a real musical instrument for the turkey woods.
What I don't like about the Woodhaven Custom Calls Cherry Classic Crystal : The only issue I have with the Cherry Classic Crystal from Woodhaven is that any moisture that forms on the calls surface renders it almost useless. YET, this is the case with ANY slate, glass, or aluminium friction call. It's not a Woodhaven problem at all. It's just the nature of this type call.
Calls Lures Scents Cherry Classic Crystal quality: The call is first class. Hand made, with a total eye for perfection. Each call is hand tuned and tested. The workmanship really shines in this call!
Cherry Classic Crystal summary: If you take turkey hunting to the extreme and want a call that performs up and beyond your wildest expectations then you must try a Woodhaven Cherry Classic Crystal. I've bought well over 50 different turkey slate type calls and this is the only one I'll take to the woods with me now. It's the best call I've ever heard and/or used.
