Purchase: I received this reel as a gift.
Things I like about the RedDot Reel RedDot Gulf 4000: It has the look and the feel of a VERY expensive reel. I've had a few really good reels and this one compares with them in every way. Very smooth, balanced and quiet. Nice smooth drag and retrieve.
What I don't like about the RedDot Reel RedDot Gulf 4000: Hard to find any information on the company and product.
RedDot Gulf 4000 quality: Light weight, precision casting and smooth design. Great quality. The handle fits nice and folds nicely into the body.
RedDot Gulf 4000 summary: I would buy another in a heartbeat. A smaller version, 2000, should be coming out soon.
