Purchase: Shooting Accessories I have owned my Vanguard for around 12 months now, this was purchased from Hunting and Fishing Lower Hutt. John worked out a nice package price at approximately $1400. I had chosed the Stainless Synthetic in 270 winchester This price included a Simmons scope and rings package.
Things I like about the Weatherby Vanguard - Stainless Synthetic Shooting Accessories: First impressions were the quality finish of the rifle and weight / balance. Very smooth action and a nice even trigger , there is no suprises with this action you know exactly when to expect the bang. Stainless synthetic combo was a really smart choice and one which I would recommend. The team had bore sighted the scope on the rifle at the shop so sighting in was a breeze with one click adjustment required for the vertical elevation... !!! shoot and clean.... shoot and clean... this was one happy new gun owner.
What I don't like about the Weatherby Vanguard - Stainless Synthetic: There really isn't anything that I don't like about the unit. Hang on , the rifle is damned accurate I just need to work on my ability to shoot straight.
Shooting Accessories Vanguard - Stainless Synthetic quality: Great overall quality finish , this is an easy rifle to clean and care for, the one piece fluted bolt system is great, nicely placed safety with a positive on off selection.
Vanguard - Stainless Synthetic summary: A great value rifle and hard to beat for accuracy. Highly recommend this if you are in the market for a new file and want accuracy without breaking the bank. The team at H&F know the products and provide all the right advice. This is a rifle that I will own for life.
