Purchase: Fishing Rods I purchased this rod at a local sporting goods store, more or less on a whim because it was only $67.
Things I like about the Tica Fly Rod 4-5 Weight 2 Piece 8.5 Foot Fly Rod Fishing Rods: I won’t beat around the bush – I love this rod. I have about 12-13 different rods from Sage, Orvis, L.L. Bean, St. Croix, Powell, T&T, etc. and this rod is as good if not better than all of them. It is well made yet inexpensive, has a medium action that casts well and is unusual in that it has a faux bamboo finish. I don’t know if this rod has a lifetime guarantee like some of the others do but at this price you can’t go wrong. It wouldn’t be hard to spend ten times what this rod costs but it would be hard to find a rod that delivers more bang for the buck.
What I don't like about the Tica Fly Rod 4-5 Weight 2 Piece 8.5 Foot Fly Rod: Nothing
Fishing Rods 4-5 Weight 2 Piece 8.5 Foot Fly Rod quality: Well made, unusual bamboo faux baboo finish, stainless steel snake guides. Comes in an aluminium tube with a green velvet sack, overall pretty well put together package.
4-5 Weight 2 Piece 8.5 Foot Fly Rod summary: Great rod for the money. The fish won't know what you spent on it.
