Purchase: Archery Equipment I purchased this rest after looking at and trying several fall away rests. I bought this unit mostly because of the let down feature. I paid 45.00 for this rest off Ebay.
Things I like about the Quality Archery Design Ultra Rest Archery Equipment: The let down feature and self containment features is why I bought this rest. At full draw and on let down the launcher stays in the up position which while deer hunting that amounts to less moving parts. I tried to shake an arrow from the rest and couldn't. For hunting purposes this is one great rest.
What I don't like about the Quality Archery Design Ultra Rest: I was skeptical about the plastic launcher arm but after 1000's of shots it is holding up and shows not wear. I have moleskin on the arm for quietness. Also I did not care for the clamp to attach cord to bow cable so I serve it into cable.
Archery Equipment Ultra Rest quality: The rest is solid as a rock and I have not had a failure of any kind with this rest.
Ultra Rest summary: For archers who want a containment rest, this rest is the best of both worlds. Rest was a breeze to tune and it is quieter than any other fall away that i have tried. I'll put it like this, I'll soon be putting the Ultra on my other bow.
