Rocket Aeroheads Slammerhead 100's Broadheads
Broadheads Manufacturer: Rocket Aeroheads
Rocket Aeroheads Model: Slammerhead 100's
Review Category: Broadheads
Purchase: I'm a big fan of Rocket b-heads and have used many of their models over the last several years. These were actually sent to me for testing in the Turkley blind. Cost should be around $20 per 3.
Things I like about the Rocket Aeroheads Slammerhead 100's: When you glance at the Slammerheads the first thing one notices is the awesome Pathfinder point that leads the devastating 1 3/4" cut to it's target. The straight tipped blades of the Slammers also mean that they can be easily shot through the netting that has become so popular on todays pop-up turkey blinds.
What I don't like about the Rocket Aeroheads Slammerhead 100's: I really have NO dislikes with these b-heads. Rocket has also improved blade sharpness this year so you getting an awesome b-head with outstanding flight characteristics.
Slammerhead 100's quality: Quality alum ferrule with the devastating Pathfinder point that Rocket has made famous. Rocket blades are also garuanteed against breakage, IF they break you simple send it back for a replacement, it's that simple. An excellent design.
Slammerhead 100's summary: For someone looking for the ultimate turkey thumpin' power for that big Gobbler, look no farther then the Slammerhead. Pinpoint accuracy and a large 1 3/4" cut will put 'em down!!! IF this set-up is used for whitetail, it will be equally effective, however I suggest using a minimum of 60+ ft/lbs of KE to insure proper penetration for such a large cut.
