Purchase: Archery Equipment I bought this sight from Acorn Archery in New Castle PA. I paid $80 for the sight.
Things I like about the Copper John Dead Nutz Hunter Archery Equipment: The Dead Nutz Hunter is light but very rigid sight. It is constructed of machined aluminum. I like the fact that it has a long sight bar with 3 different mounting positions. I have the .029 3 pin modle. The sight offers a zero pin gap and all of the pins are on the same plane. This is accomplished by "Soloplane Technology" this eliminates the apperance of zig zagging pins. The round sight housing and bright orange ring aid in aligning your peep and sight up for a fast target actuation and shot. Which is priceless at the moment of truth. The DeadNutz hunter offers gang adjustments as well as single pin adjustments for fine tuning. It comes with a sight level to aid in accuracy. There is also the Afterburner light for the copper john sights. It is a super bright blue light that attaches to the sight housing and makes the pins glow very bright no matter the lighting conditions.
What I don't like about the Copper John Dead Nutz Hunter: I do not like the fact that the gang adjustments do not have micro adjust hash marks making it easier to dial in the fine tuning of the sight. It is not a necessary feature for a sight, but it is nice to have and would make the Deadnutz all the better if it was included.
Archery Equipment Dead Nutz Hunter quality: The DeadNutz is well made and durable. It has stood up to everything I have thrown at it thus far.
Dead Nutz Hunter summary: It is one of the better sights available on the market. Especially for the price. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a quality sight with a ton of great options. You can have them in black or the popular camo patterns such as mossy oak and realtree with the 3 or 5 pins modles.
