Purchase: Archery Equipment I purchased this rest from Bass Pro Shops for around $60
Things I like about the Golden Key Mirage Fallaway rest Archery Equipment: I like the concept of the scoop that will lift your arrow regardless of it's postion. When wrapped in fleece it's very quiet.
What I don't like about the Golden Key Mirage Fallaway rest: On the first generation of this rest there was some major issues with vibration causing the rest body to nearly fall off. This rest has been improved since there but overall contruction is still faily crude. I didn't like the fact that to make the rest quiet I needed to add fleece, a rubber stop pad for the launcher arm to hit on and two mini Limb Savers. A rest shouldn't need this much after market "improvemnet".
Archery Equipment Mirage Fallaway rest quality: Overall construction and quality I would rate as poor. Numerous problems have plagued this rest. This company has certainly produced better products than this.
Mirage Fallaway rest summary: An "OK" rest but definitely NOT one I would suggest for the average hunter, or any hunter for that matter. Spend a few more extra dollars and buy one of the many other quality fallaway rest designs available.
