Spiderwire Fushion Fishing Line
Fishing Line Manufacturer: Spiderwire
Spiderwire Model: Fushion
Review Category: Fishing Line
Purchase: Fishing Line I needed some line for catfish so I went to Walmart to get some. I paid about $7.50 + tax.
Things I like about the Spiderwire Fushion Fishing Line: It is very strong. I caught several catfish without having to cut line. I caught an 8.5 lb channel, two 8 lb channels, and tons of 6 lb channels. I used 10 lb line and could reel these fish in fast. It did not snap. I also like the fact that it doesn't stretch. If it were to stretch, the catfish could find a hiding place in the logs. It happened to me when I was using Stren Original. It's also very small in diameter. I bought some 10 lb test and it has 4 lb diameter. You can fit bigger line on your reel.
What I don't like about the Spiderwire Fushion: The only thing I didn't like about it was the diameter. I bought it not looking at the diameter. My reel holds 6-16 lb line and the diameter was 4 lb line. It may be confusing to the first time fisher like me.
Fishing Line Fushion quality: The line is very well made. It doesn't stretch but it doesn't snap under pressure. I fish around heavy cover, so I need a strong line. This line is very strong. I got stuck in rocks and the line was rubbing on those. I was also fighting an 8.5 lb catfish and the ling got tangled around a limb. I had to reel the limb in. The line did not snap. I cast out again and got an 8 lb catfish on the same line.
Fushion summary: Spiderwire Fusion is a great line. I would recommend it for a catfisher who wants great line for a great price.
