Purchase: Fishing Lures I found the rooster tail by accident. At our local fishing store I decided to try something new. I selected the wordens rooster tail model # 208 brtr. I paid 1.99 for the lure. I was the best investment in fishing equipment of my rather long fishing career.
Things I like about the Wordens rooster tails 208brtr Fishing Lures: The fact that i caught more than 5000 fish with this lure, speaks for itself. The blade rotates freely with a vibration that drives fish nuts. I have caught many different species of fish with lure. The color I use is other ingredient in my opinion on my success. The fish just seem to crush it with unbelievable force. The other thing I like about this lure the fact that once a fish hits it, they stay on, resulting in more catches.
What I don't like about the Wordens rooster tails 208brtr: The only thing that I can think of is the fact that the paint comes off the lure somewhat easily. I love to trout fish and the multiple casts up against rocks, seems to remove the finish more than other trout lures. I must have retired some 50 lures, (which are trophies on my fishing cap).
Fishing Lures 208brtr quality: The construction of the rooster tail is very sturdy and fluid. The blades spin with ease. The tail is very durable and rotates with flare . The middle section (weighted) also spins with ease.
208brtr summary: This lure will increase your catch percentages. I believe it's the best trout fishing lure on the market. It's also a fantastic bass lure. The trick to fishing this lure is to get the blade spinning and to keep it about 2 feet off the top of the water. Change weights accordingly. The other great thing about this lure, if the fish don't bite after the third cast, you better move, or your wasting valuable fihing time.
