Purchase: Bass Fishing Reels I acquired this unit on ebay and paid $35 for it.
Things I like about the Quantum 1420 MG Bass Fishing Reels: The reel is very simplistic. The retail is about $80. It is a cross between a round reel and low profile. It fits in the hand very well and has very smooth characteristics. it casts very well and can be adjusted with just the flip of a switch to open the "bayonet cover". It makes an awesome "flippin reel".
What I don't like about the Quantum 1420 MG: The price is a little steep if you were going to buy it retail.
Bass Fishing Reels 1420 MG quality: Construction is mostly aluminum. It is very well made and should last with care.
1420 MG summary: Bottom line is this is a very nice reel. A little different, but worth it.
