Purchase: Fishing Lures I bought this lure at a sporting goods store for $4.99 I bought this lure on a recommendation from a friend and also having some luck on a similar lure.
Things I like about the Arbogast Hula Popper Fishing Lures: I love this lure!! For years from the time I was young I have always had these stupid floating lures in my tackle box that I never used. UNTIL NOW! I learned how and when to use these floating hula poppers and have had great success!! Many bass are tempted to go for wounded bait. I have caught white, smallmouth, and largemouth bass using this one popper. My biggest catch is 4lb largemouth (20 inches)
What I don't like about the Arbogast Hula Popper: I have no dislikes about this lure. If used properly it usually produces bites.
Fishing Lures Hula Popper quality: The quaility is great. I have had several hula poppers in my tackle box for years and have held up. My new popper gets used a lot and is in great condition.
Hula Popper summary: This is a great bass attractor if used properly. I like a using a medium weight hula popper. It gives you further casts plus I personaly feel it is easier to control and pop across the top of the water. Use different tactics (fast popping retrieve, erratic popping retreive, slow popping retreive, or pausing and popping retreive). BUY ONE TODAY. The thrill of seeing a bass lunge out of the water, grab your hula popper and then put up a fight is better the any strike you will get.
