Purchase: Fishing Lures I seen an infomercial on the outdoor channel for the Banjo Minnow and decided that it was a ripoff. Later that day I went to their website(www.banjominnow.com), and figured that this lure was worth a try. I called their number(available on website)and ordered it for $39.90+shipping & handling = $49.85.
Things I like about the Not Applicable Banjo Minnow Fishing System Fishing Lures: What I like about the Banjo Minnow is that has a very lifelike crippled minnow action. It is also a very versitale lure. It can catch any thing from bass to Sailfish. There is also no need to manually set the hook. 99.9% of the time the hook will set itself.
What I don't like about the Not Applicable Banjo Minnow Fishing System: The only thing I don't like about the lure is the fact that it is a visual lure and doesn't work well in dark or dirty water. It catches more fish when they can see it.
Fishing Lures Banjo Minnow Fishing System quality: When you get the kit there will be 24 minnows in 3,4,and 5 inch sizes, 15 circle hooks in 3 different sizes,15 corkscrews which I will explain later,60 rubber weed guards, and 30 o-rings. The corkscrews are pushed into the lures nose, the hook goes through the corkscrew and the o-ring goes over the hook so it doesn't slip out. Then the weed guard goes over the barb. As for the quality, they come in 4 different colors and they are made of a durable rubber. I haven't had one break yet. You also get 3 Banjo frogs which rigged up in the same way.
Banjo Minnow Fishing System summary: All in all, it is one of the best lures I have ever used. I would recommend it to any serious fisherman who wants to increase the number of fish in thier livewell.
