Things I like about the Rocky bearclaw 800 gram thinsulate: The first impression of the the boot is that it is a quality product. The name Rocky is saturated and distibutors like Cabela's seem to endorse their products in a positive fashion. Little do customers know that this company could care less about your footwear after one year from date of the purchase.
What I don't like about the Rocky bearclaw 800 gram thinsulate: Boots sat in the original box for 2 1/2 years in a closet. Took them out to go hunting and the soles were like crumbling toast. They fell apart. I took them back to Rocky Outlet and seen Kevin the Mgr. He said the warranty is for one year only!!!! Sorry. Obvious lack of concern for what i am sure is a common problem according to other Rocky personnel. They have moved all mfg. to Mexico and Dominican Republic while selling the majority of their product here in the states. PLEASE DON'T buy their products and promote poor quality and customer satifaction.
