Purchase: Trail Cameras (m-s) I choose it as my Christmas gift last year, 2003, from my wife and she paid $80.00 not including taxes from Walmart.
Things I like about the Moultrie Game Cam II Trail Cameras (m-s): The conveience of using 35 mm film. Also it's price. I was very happy to get it for around $80.00. It is very simple to use. You do not have to be a brain surgeon to use it. Load the camera and film, secure the unit, point the laser, and providing you do not leave alot of scent you get pictures.
What I don't like about the Moultrie Game Cam II: I wish that the flash would go out further. I have alot of deer that I only have their eyes and they were within the perimeter of what the camera said. I have noticed that you have to cut everything away from the camera or it will draw the flash. Unfortunately, the deer notice this. I try to leave the camera as hidden as I most possibly can. Due to the flash, I can't. Another drawback, is I do not like having to take the camera off the tree or apart to get the film and bateries out of the unit. I wish there was a way we could get to the batteries and camera without unsecuring the unit. This would save alot of time. I am handicapped, I go to the woods by myself. Setting up a camera wears me out. I can't complain for what I paid for it. It has let me know about 6 bucks/15 does around my ground blind, so I am not unhappy by no means.
Trail Cameras (m-s) Game Cam II quality: I am pleased with the overhaul construction. Here in San Antonio, we have had a few real good rain storms and I have yet to have a leak in my system. Knock on wood. I have accidently dropped a couple of times on the rocks carrying it to my ground blind, and I have had nothing but great photos.
Game Cam II summary: I have suggested this trail camera to all my friends several times over. I do not believe there is any other better comment than that.
