Purchase: Hunting Boots After last years first day of hunting I just couldn't take the cold feet anymore. The older I get the worse they become. This is even with heated socks and a very good pair of Rocky's. I bought them direct off Icebreaker.com. Now I see all the major stores have them. They were $49.95 plus a few dollars shipping and handling.
Things I like about the Ice Breaker Over Boots Hunting Boots: At last a way to keep my feet warm. I was begining to think I was going to have to give up stand hunting. Their light and easy to pack into the woods. They also snap into the belt for trudging back and forth between camp and my stand.
What I don't like about the Ice Breaker Over Boots: I shouldn't criticize them since they are prolonging my hunting days. I will say you need to be extra careful when in a tree stand since their not exactly small.
Hunting Boots Over Boots quality: I'd say their definitely not made for doing any walking and would think they'd disenegrate pretty quickly if they hit any brush. For their intended use they are made good.
Over Boots summary: They saved me from having to stalk hunt for the rest of my hunting days. I doubt I'd be able to take more than a few hours of walking so I'm grateful I stumbled upon these. If you know an older hunter he's probably in the same situation. Think about buying him a pair as well. He'll be thankful for a long time.
