Purchase: Archery Bows I purchased my matthews bow after I went through about 10 other bows and several missed deer. I had asked several people why they thought I had inconsistent shot placement. Reason #1.. "equipment" Time after time I was told by respected bow hunters "get you a Matthews" so finally... I broke down and shelled out a total of $861.00. Included in that price was a brand new Matthews FX, 24 carbon arrows, sites, carrying case and field tips and broadheads. Immediately following the wifes subsequent heart attack (brought on by the breaking news of how much I had spent at Grants Sporting Goods in Dalton Georgia) I headed outside to "sight-in" this new divorce causing device. After the first shot at 25 yards I knew... I had found the love of my life! I have since then taken several deer with my matthews (never once failing me.)

What I don't like about the Matthews Matthews FX: Ummmmmm.. wife not pleased with cost!!! Shes been replaced with a new one.. her name.. you guessed it.. Matthews FX
