Purchase: Archery Equipment I got this accessory for Christmas from my bro-in-law. He hunts too, so I love it when he draws my name for Christmas presents! Not sure where he bought it or how much he paid, but Cabela's sells it for $16.99.
Things I like about the Team Realtree EZ Hanger Bow Holder - Three Arm Model Archery Equipment: This hanger is awesome. It gives me somewhere to put my bow while up in my stand so that I don't have to hold it. I can even leave an arrow nocked when I hang it. The three arm model lets me adjust the hanger so that my bow hangs exactly where I want it to....right in reach, but out of my way. It has a large hook on the end that will accept almost any bow. It also has two smaller utility hooks on the end closer to the tree for me to hang my binos, rangefinder, camera or daypack. I have used other hangers that do not work as well or do not keep the bow in front of me, ready for a shot.
What I don't like about the Team Realtree EZ Hanger Bow Holder - Three Arm Model: There are a couple things that I don't like about this hanger. For one, to get the bow where I want it (arms length away on my left side since I am right handed), I have to screw it into the tree almost directly over my head. Which puts it in my way when I stand up. I have learned to insert it a little further left so that I don't have this problem, but then my bow isn't RIGHT where I want it (I am picky). Next time out, I may try hanging it a little higher and see if that helps. Second, the small utility hooks are nice, but in my opinion, they are too close to the tree. I think they should be further out on the second arm which would allow calls and binos to hang where I can reach them, instead of behind me. Of course, then they might be hanging in a shooting lane, which would not be good.
Archery Equipment EZ Hanger Bow Holder - Three Arm Model quality: This is a very durable product. The hinged arms are sturdy and quiet. The end the screws into the tree is sharp and all it takes is a little jab into the bark to get it started and then just twist it until it is snug. If you don't get it snug, as soon as you put your bow on the hanger, the weight of it will cause it to spin, so make sure you have it nice and tight!
EZ Hanger Bow Holder - Three Arm Model summary: I really like this hanger and will use mine for many years to come! If you are looking for an affordable but dependable way to hang your bow while on stand, this is a great product to have! This would also be good for someone who hunts on the ground, if you like to sit on a bucket next to a tree. The hanger keeps your hands free, but allows you to be ready to shoot at a moments notice.
