Purchase: Tree Stands I was at a local sporting goods store looking for a new climber. I saw this Brutus climber and realy liked its looks, but the price, $279.00, was more than I wanted to spend. When I got home I looked on Ebay and found one for $219.00 plus $20.00 for shipping so I ordered it. I got to use it this weekend for the first time and I love it.
Things I like about the Brutus Barkbiter Shooter Elite Tree Stands: This tree stand is the fastest stand I have ever used. The belt adjustment to put it on the tree takes seconds. The shooting rail, foot rest, gun holder, and its large padded seat make for comfortable all day hunts. This stand also makes no noise going through the woods. It is built solid and nothing rattles.
What I don't like about the Brutus Barkbiter Shooter Elite: The only thing I dont like is the weight of the stand.(28 lbs) I wish it was a few pounds lighter.
Tree Stands Barkbiter Shooter Elite quality: All materials seem to be high quality. The welds all look stong and the metal is heavy duty.
Barkbiter Shooter Elite summary: I cant think of anyone I would not recommend this tree stand to. I believe the ease of use and comfort make up for the extra weight. This stand should be looked at by anyone in the market for a gun hunting climber.
