Purchase: GPS I bought this unit at Cabelas for about $250
Things I like about the Garmin E-Trex Legend GPS: I like the ease of use with the toggle button to navigate through the menus. I also like the built in map. It is really nice to have landmarks and lakeshore to reference to when navigating.
What I don't like about the Garmin E-Trex Legend: The screen is a bit small. I have a RAM mount for it in my boat and it gets a bit hard to see the details when we are bouncing across a windy lake.
GPS E-Trex Legend quality: Very good construction. Easy to change batteries.
E-Trex Legend summary: I wish I had the time to really learn all the features that it offers. The basics are easy to master, and it is a great friend to have with you in the woods or on the lake.
