Summit Broadhead Backpacker Climbing Tree Stands
Tree Stands Manufacturer: Summit
Summit Model: Broadhead Backpacker Climbing
Review Category: Tree Stands
Purchase: Tree Stands Found this treestand in the Cabela's online catalogue. Won $200.00 from my company and had wanted a treestand after three years of unsuccessful hunts on foot. Paid $210.00 for this unit.
Things I like about the Summit Broadhead Backpacker Climbing Tree Stands: Portability and ease of use is what I like the most about this unit. (Portability)Hiked a mile in rugged terrain to place my stand and it was like I had a light backback on. I live in the West of Washington and the woods are quite dense. I didn't get caught up on anything. (Ease of Use) After reviewing the video two or three times I was able to set up and utilize the stand with no problem on my first practice tree. I read the manuel as well. I'm not mechanical but visual, and the CD was a godsend. After a hike, and in the dark I was able to set up, and have a good experience on my first hunt. NO deer but safe and comfortable.
What I don't like about the Summit Broadhead Backpacker Climbing : Users manuel works better when you read and view the CD at the same time.
Tree Stands Broadhead Backpacker Climbing quality: No issues after my first weekend of use. Quality is good. Like the small touches such as the plactic caps on the front of legs. I like the draw cord that goes around the tree for a better placement of your seatback.
Broadhead Backpacker Climbing summary: My son wants me to get another one! A good unit for a good price. Portability and ease of use were what I was looking for and what I received. I have Summit added to my favorite list.
