Purchase: Tree Stands After shopping around in local sporting goods stores, I traveled approx 26 miles and found the same stand for $40.00 dollars less. I was looking for a comfortable and secure stand that would allow me to stay in the tree all day like I did years ago. I have a lower back problem and I must be comfortable. After testing this stand, I fell in love with it. This is the ticket for me. I finally paid $180.00 for the comfort that I need in the woods.
Things I like about the Summit X4 Tree Stands: I adjusted my seat low enough to use the front for a gun rest and if nothing is going on, I can rest my tired head and catch a few winks.
What I don't like about the Summit X4: The weight of 20 pounds is a bit excessive but the comfort is worth it.
Tree Stands X4 quality: The qualiy of construcion is unserpassed as is the finish, non glare and quiet. I love the ease and quiet of the adjustable cables and NO SQUEAKS. That is a big pluss for me.
X4 summary: For older people, the comfort is superior, the quiet is outstanding. I only wish that I had upgraded earlier. I would have continued hunting years ago.
