Purchase: Tree Stands Purchased the Cobra X4 from SCHEELS for $179.00. I choose the Summit for their reputation and quality of product.
Things I like about the Summit Cobra X4 Tree Stands: I really like the Cobra X4 . . . this is my third tree stand; by far the best! It's light and easy to pack in to the woods! The stand is also very simple to place on a tree and climb quietly.
What I don't like about the Summit Cobra X4: The instructions included were scetchy and difficult to follow. I used the included DVD and finaly got the accessories installed.
Tree Stands Cobra X4 quality: Great quality. I did have one weld that was in the wrong place, and required some "adjusting" to allow the climbing rail to mount correctly.
Cobra X4 summary: I would encourage anyone that is in the market for a climber to purchase a Summit! Although, they are on the pricey side, there is alot to be said about qaulity and safety. Additionaly, they are light compared to their competion. There are somethings that you can't skimp on. . .quality of construcation COUNTS!
