Things I like about the API Grand Slam Extreme Magnum Tree Stands: The stand is one of the most stable stands on the market. the plastic wrapped chain makes for a quiet climb while still holding secure. the stand is so easy to climb makes for perfect early morning starts. the padded straps make carrying the stand easy when walking to the right tree. the seat folds out to have a full back cushion so sitting up there for hours does not even get uncomfortable. the bars are also padded allow for a nice place to sit a gun or bow while in the stand. the pads are also nice to sit on and push up on when climbing and coming back down the tree.
What I don't like about the API Grand Slam Extreme Magnum : the only thing bad about the stand is the way the chain locks in. the chain is wrapped in plastic with holes stratigically placed for the pin to go through. many times the pin doesnt seem to want to find the hole on the first try which will tend to make some noise. and we all know noise is the worst thing in the woods
Tree Stands Grand Slam Extreme Magnum quality: the unit is made to last and i know for a fact it will last for years and still look about new. this may just be the last tree stand you ever will need to purchase. the only thing that might wear out is the plastic that is wrappped around the chain but that is a easy and cheap fix
Grand Slam Extreme Magnum summary: I would recommend this stand to any person that wants to sit up in a tree. I have been in tree stands scared to death and this one makes you feel secure.
