Purchase: Hunting Outerwear I bought the Rocky Carson Safety System from Cabela's catalog for a little over a hundred dollars. I bought it becasue several of my hunting buddies had one. I fell out of a tree stand last year and broke 31 bones. I am now very concerned about tree stand safety. I wear this system on EVERY hunt. I recommend it to all my friends and have bought one for my son as well.
Things I like about the rocky carson safety system hunting harness vest system Hunting Outerwear: It is convenient to put the vest on and off; while always having the safety harness. It zipa over the buckles, so it is not noisy like others. It also was in a light fleece material that I could wear virtually all season. I also bought a Rocky scent proof parka. This vest even zips into the parka to make one garment with the tree tether coming out a small hole in the back of the parka. No more rain and cold down my neck!!!Awesome!!!!
What I don't like about the rocky carson safety system hunting harness vest system: Tad too heavy and did not like the tree attachment. It was not heavy to wear, just felt heavy when it arrived in the mail. I bought a Seat of the Pants rope that attaches to the tree for my safety line. Works great with this vest!
