PSE Flash Bows
Bows Manufacturer: PSE
PSE Model: Flash
Review Category: Bows
Purchase: I bought this bow in 2004 from Bass Pro Shops and paid 379.99 For the package. The pckage came with quiver, sight, rest, sling, and stabalizer.
Things I like about the PSE Flash: The three things I like most about the bow are: 1. Very fast- will shoot a 29" carbon arrow w/ 100 grain tip around 290 out of the box. 2. Extremely quiet- Out of the box it is very quiet but with the additon of string leaches you get the standard "thump" that everyone likes to hear. 3. Size- with a 34" axle to axle size it is very manuverable in woods and stand.
What I don't like about the PSE Flash: Brace height- With a 6-3/4" brace height it is not a forgiving bow to shoot. With alot of practice this can be overcome. The package contents leave alot to be desired, the hornet rest is not the best and the stabalizer might as well not be on there.
Flash quality: Very well constructed. This bow does not seem to have any flaws in it's design.
Flash summary: Bottom line is I would stack this bow against any of the high-priced competitors. I would recommend this bow to anyone from beginner to expert.
