Matthews LX Bows
Bows Manufacturer: Matthews
Matthews Model: LX
Review Category: Bows
Purchase: Bows Paid under $700.00 cash for this bow at Hill Top Sports in Greenville Michigan. I shot other bows by Hoyt, Bowtech, and Pearson. I bought this at Hill Top because of their knowledgeable and helpful pros there to assist setting this up with the best combination of sights, arrows and broadheads.
Things I like about the Matthews LX Bows: This bow had the best fit for me. The draw, valley, quietness of release and consistency in accuracy sold me on this first. After shooting this unit for two years it is still as quiet and smooth as the day I bought it. It has made me a much better shooter than I ever dreamed of being.
What I don't like about the Matthews LX: The only thing about this bow I don't like is having to put it away at the end of hunting season.
Bows LX quality: The single cam design and ball bearing roller guide are huge factors in the smooth, and quiet operation of the shooting system of this bow. The parallel limbs and handle are the perfect combination of lightweight and balance to make anyone a better shooter.
LX summary: Matthews is the standard of comparison for all other bows. They are the leaders in design and innovation of bow manufacturers. The rest try to follow, copy, or improve on the Matthews tradition to call it their own. It has been a great challenge for the competition.
