Purchase: Bows I bought the bow at Uncle Lee's in Greenville, KY. It seemed to be just what needed. The price was $375 ready to go. Which I thought was a fair price.
Things I like about the PSE Bruin Bows: The size. 55# draw with 80% let off.
What I don't like about the PSE Bruin: A screw on the cam fell off came off while I was shooting it. I took it back to Uncle Lee's and they fixed it right there on the spot. The bow will not shoot tight groups. I have shot it at least 500 hundred times and have taken it back twice to the dealer to try to have it adjusted to shoot true. Each time they adjust it a little different, still no change for the better.
Bows Bruin quality: The screws on the bow will not stay tight. The string is out of alignment for the fletching on the arrows hit it and it has ruined a dozen arrows for me. It is very loud.
Bruin summary: I do not recommend this bow to anyone. I don't know about the other PSE bows. The Bruin is not a good one. Or at least the one I have is not. Editors Note: D. Stanley recently wrote Hunting & Fishing Gear Review and advised Uncle Lee's was finally able to resolve the problem with the Bow. Mr. Stanley is now very pleased with hit PSE Bruin Bow in fact he states he plans to use it for many years to come and now rates it an excellent hunting bow.
