Purchase: Hunting Outerwear Friend of mine that is an Army Ranger was telling me about Wiggys sleeping bags and that several Rangers bought Wiggys bags with their own money because Wiggy bags were a lot warmer than Army issue bags. I went on Wiggys.com and bought a vest for $90 . Wore it a week then ordered a sleeping bag too ! Sold my North Face down bag on ebay .
Things I like about the Wiggys Vest Hunting Outerwear: This lamalite stuff that Wiggys uses is incredible , warmer than down even when wet , and much warmer than other "high tech" insulations. He must have the patent on this stuff because no one else uses it . Wiggys products are not cheap but worth every penny when its cold .
What I don't like about the Wiggys Vest: Nothing .
Hunting Outerwear Vest quality: Top of the line !
Vest summary: Its hard to understand why Wiggys products are not more advertised or in major catalogs because this is the best cold weather gear I've ever used by far . The vest is much thinner than 750 goose down but just as warm ... even when wet !
