Fred Bear BTR-32 Bows
Bows Manufacturer: Fred Bear
Fred Bear Model: BTR-32
Review Category: Bows
Purchase: Bows I work for a sporting goods store in Crosby, Minnnesota called Oars-N-Mine. I am a very avid hunter who was looking to buy a new bow. Our supplier carries a variety of different bows, one of which was the Buckmasters BTR-32. As an employee I get a very good price on our products, and considering the full line of accesssories that came with the bow, it seemed like a no-brainer. I paid around $220.
Things I like about the Fred Bear BTR-32 Bows: The bow is compact, 32 inches axle-to-axle, and weighs about 3 1/2 lbs. I hunt in a variety of blinds and treestands, so a small bow is crucial. However, this bow is no lightweight when it comes to performance. This bow shoots arrows whisper quiet at blistering speeds. I use my top pin for anything up to 30 yards. My first shot at an actual animal, a six point buck, hit the deer before either one of us knew what happened.
What I don't like about the Fred Bear BTR-32: As soon as I can find something that I do not like about this bow, I will be sure to let you know.
Bows BTR-32 quality: This bow features a split limb design, making the unit very quiet and gives it a wider appearence without adding the weight. Very sturdy bow, with a very comfortable feel. The carbon limbs do not give off a sense of weak points at all, making this even more enjoyable to shoot.
BTR-32 summary: Are you looking for a compact, lightwieght bow with quality design, speed, full accessories and a lightweight price tag? I highly doubt that Mathews can make all that happen, but Fred Bear and Buckmasters has. Take it from me, a bow of this quality with a full line of top-shelf accessories and a small price tag only comes in one package, the Fred Bear Buckmasters BTR-32. It is a purchase you will never regret.
