Purchase: Bows Paid $350 for it at a local sporting goods store in 2003. It has the zr200 limbs and cam and 1/2 system. Draw weight is 50 lbs and the length is 26".
Things I like about the Hoyt MagnaTec Bows: It's fast for the light draw weight, no recoil, quiet, and well built. I like the Tec riser ans split limbs, and the cam ans 1/2 is great. After 2 hunting seasons there are still absolutely no problems or issues. It was also cheap.
What I don't like about the Hoyt MagnaTec: Nothing really, an aluminum riser would be nice but the magnesium one is cheaper.
Bows MagnaTec quality: Very good quality, what you would expect from Hoyt.
MagnaTec summary: A low priced bow that has the quality, features, and performance of a high priced bow.
