Purchase: I bought this bow 2 years ago at Galyan's - what is now Dicks - for about $200. I shot 4 deer in two years..a doe to start off my bow hunting career, and the last day of the season I shot a small buck. Then this year I shot a wall mounter on the first day of the season and on the second to last day of the season (a week ago) shot a doe. (all perfect shots and no problem finding the animal) I was a begginner, and it was an awesome bow to get started with.
Things I like about the PSE DEER HUNTER: All around the bow is perfect for the price. I really liked the quiver that came with the bow. The site is very easy to adjust. All around it shoots great.
What I don't like about the PSE DEER HUNTER: I had no problems with the bow except the screw on the rest that can with the bow rusted up after 6 months and I had to get a new rest. Sort of my fault I guess.
DEER HUNTER quality: quality is great. perfect. awesome.
DEER HUNTER summary: If your starting off bow hunting this is a good bow to get started with. And it won't hurt the wallet.. (or at least let you prepare for the $$$ going into the next bow) It's got enough power to take down anything..give it a try..
