Purchase: Bows I just read your reviews on the new Mathews 2006 hunting bows and have to tell you my story. My wife and I were in the process of our first big fight so I decided to get out for some fresh air so I figured I'd head to the range for an hour. Next to me was a guy I had never seen at the club before shooting what appeared to be a new bow. I wanted to stick to myself but he kept trying to start a conversation so I asked him if that was a new hunting bow he was shooting. He perked up and asked me if I wanted to shoot it. I felt obligated to shoot his bow and the next thing I knew I was on my tenth shot and asking him where what was the name of this amazing bow. The next thing I knew I was at my local archery shop adding to my hunting bow collection which coincidentally I might be selling as none of my current arsenal can compare to this bow.
Things I like about the Mathews Switchback XT Bows: I just can't imagine how a hunting bow can get any better than this. The bow fires like a rocket, it's short, smooth, minimal vibration and best of all this is a hunting bow that just feels good to shoot.
What I don't like about the Mathews Switchback XT: I can't really tell you because I think I've found the ultimate bow for hunting and 3-D competitions. I can tell you what my wife said about the bow, but I'm afraid they wouldn't post my review if I did.
Bows Switchback XT quality: Without sounding redundant this bow is flawless it feels like an extension of my arm which is really what all hunting bow manufacturers set out to create in a bow. It feels and functions like a precision instrument.
Switchback XT summary: I just can't say enough about this bow and like I said I can't imagine taking one of my other hunting bows out again after experiencing how smooth and fast this bow shots. I may sound biased but sooner or later you'll shoot this bow and remember a review a guy did on his Mathews Switchback. It really is that good.
