Matthews Fx2 Bows
Bows Manufacturer: Matthews
Matthews Model: Fx2
Review Category: Bows
Purchase: With my first bow (a badge) my groups were all over the place and frisbee sized. I recently purchased the Fx2 and couldn't be more pleased. My groups went from frisbee sized to less than that of a tennis ball. Almost all my shots are dead center and I am shooting with the same accesories from my old bow. I am using a whisker biscuit, a copper John sight, the same arrows, and same trigger release. I purchased this bow for $550. This bow is perfect for shooters big (old) and small (young)
Things I like about the Matthews Fx2: I just added up the average weight for all 12 of Matthews bows. The average weight is 4.13 Lbs The Fx2 weighs only 3.3 Lbs making it the 2nd lightest bow Matthews makes. (lightest is the Mustang at 3.2) I am pulling about 50 lbs and it goes up to 70. The draw length goes up to 31 so I have lots of growing room. Matthews makes good quality bows and this one will last me a long long time. An amazing bow worth every cent of the price. Why be content with Jennings when you can have the best???
What I don't like about the Matthews Fx2: I like everything from the grip to the camouflage color. The only downside is the price, but it is cheaper than most of the other Matthews bows.
Fx2 quality: Matthews is known for its quality in making bows. This bow should last me as long as I need it.
Fx2 summary: Okay, the bow is expensive, but worth it. My dad has been shooting the Outback for several years and no problems. My bow has worked flawlessly and is extremely quiet. I don't even need limbsavers.
