Things I like about the Matthews LX Bows: I admit to being a skeptic when it came to newfangled technology. I was content with my 46" wood and fiberglass compound with my trusty reliable wheels and my damascus shooitng glove. After deciding to be serious about archery I decided to invest in a new setup. I shot Darton, Hoyt and even considered a Kodiak Bow Logic. But, when I picked up this lone Matthews Bow, it seemed to literally mold itself to my hand. The balance was perfect and it was love at first site. Jerry, the proprietor, fitted me with sights, a D-Loop, a release and some Behman arrows and it was off to the indoor range. I can only describe this bow in one word; WOW!!! It shoots as good as it looks and barely has any shock or vibration. I've never shot with a release before but after some coaching I was consistantly placing arrows in the "X" or 9 ring at 20 yards. This is by far the finest, smoothest drawing bow I've ever shot. It's truly a pleasure and the service and support behind the prodict is fantastic.
What I don't like about the Matthews LX : I, in all honesty, can't find anything wrong or not to like about this bow. It's simply that good.
Bows LX quality: Superb. The camo finish is great and the fit of the grip into the riser is perfect. The ergonomics and balance of this particular bow is fantastic.
LX summary: IF you want a great performing, flat shooting and smooth drawing bow, Matthews LX is worthy of your attention.
