Bowtech Allegiance Bows

Bows Manufacturer: Bowtech
Bowtech Model: Allegiance
Review Category: Bows

Purchase: Bows I purchased this bow new on Ebay. I was shooting a Bowtech Extreme VFT which shot excellent but I liked the Binary cams the Allegiance offered.I paid $550 for the bow bare

Things I like about the Bowtech Allegiance Bows: This bow like all of the other Bowtech's I have shot is built with hard to ignore quality and engineering. The hand shock is next to non-existant and the accuracy is dead on (it is not uncommon for me to shoot 2-3 inch groupings at 50 yards consistantly)The draw is smooth and the release is crisp.Very quiet and fast I get 299 FPS with a 375 grain arrow a 28.5 drawlength at 69 pounds of draw weight. This year of Allegiance can also handle up to 100 pound limbs which is one of the reasons I went with this year.Solid shooting straighter nock travel for a flatter shot with a high energy transfer and awesome kinetic energy.

What I don't like about the Bowtech Allegiance: The only thing I can think of that might be a problem for some buyers is that the 2005 Bowtech's with the Binary cams, you have to swap out the whole cam to change drawlength rather than the module system that is on the newer 2006 Binary cams. You just have to be absolutely sure of your drawlength before you buy the 2005 Bowtech's that have the Binary cam system

Bows Allegiance quality: This bow is solidly built.High quality materials are used. The risers are cut very clean and you can tell that time is taken in the designing and engineering of these bows.Great camoflage dipping and several different types to choose from.Winners choice strings from the get go, which are in my opinion the best.Brace heights and axle to axle lengths that balance each other out nicely.Good weight not too heavy not too light.Parallel limbs that take just about all of the shock out of the shot.Sealed bearings in the cams for a smoother draw and release.A slim grip to help with hand torque(takes a little getting used to)but once you do...

Allegiance summary: I try to shoot what I preceive to be the best product for me regardless of brand or advertising mumbo-jumbo. I do my best to explain my likes and dislikes about an item and share that info. This bow is a awesome product it has worked well for me and could not ask for much more without taking the fun out of shooting. The challenges the success and sometimes failures are what make this sport we love great.Taking the time to find that piece of equipment that makes your hunting or recreational outings that much more enjoyable is worth the effort.I write this review so that you might be that much more informed.Happy shooting
