Purchase: Hunting Outerwear Local sporting goods store stocks Gamehide brands. Paid around $129 I think in the winter of 2006 needing a waterproof jacket/ hood.
Things I like about the Gamehide Hyper Hide H20 Hunting Outerwear: I liked the Realtree Hardwoods pattern in this soft and waterproof material. Light weight for such a warm jacket
What I don't like about the Gamehide Hyper Hide H20: Here it is Sept 2007 fishing in the first seasons rain and it leaks. My shoulders were soaked after 4-5 hours of fishing in light rain.
Hunting Outerwear Hyper Hide H20 quality: Construction and quality appear to be very good. No tears, wear spots.
Hyper Hide H20 summary: Had I known it would be leaking water within 1 year I would have bought something else. But it is comfortable and usable in cold weather without a lot of bulk. The store sales man says to treat it with a waterproofing solution. But I cannot find any information on jacket or gamehide's web site that says to do so. I don't want to make it any worse. There were at least four different water proofing solutions on his shelf to choose from. Gamehide's website has a FAQ section but no postings or access to post a question. Their press release section does not address a time guarantee. www.gamehide.com
