Mathews FX Bows
Bows Manufacturer: Mathews
Mathews Model: FX
Review Category: Bows
Purchase: Bows I've had my unit for a few years now, I got it from my father. I paid $300 and still think it is one of the best investments in hunting equipment i've made!
Things I like about the Mathews FX Bows: I really like the quality put into the bow. As with any Mathews product, quality is their number one priority. The camo pattern on the bow is top quality, and is scratch resistant. The handle is extremely comfortable and teamed with the 75% let off, I can hold the bow all day long. It isn't as quite as other Mathews bows, but is still wicked fast and smooth even in the sub-zero temps we get here in Minnesota. I don't think I'm ever going to get rid of it!
What I don't like about the Mathews FX: I have no major qualms against this bow. The only thing I could really say bad about it is the noise level compared to other Mathews bows. But that is really miniscule compared to how happy I am with it.
Bows FX quality: the solo cam design leaves less to go wrong, and makes for a much smoother shooting bow. The quality is top notch, I mean c'mon it's Mathews.
FX summary: bottom line, This is a great all around bow for the money. There are better bows on the market, but if you want something much cheaper but just as good quality, this is the bow for you. I have never had any mechanical problems with mine, but if one would run into any problems, Mathews customer service would take great care to meet your needs.
