Purchase: Bows I purchased a hoyt avenger from Bows are Us in Lucedale MS. I had been looking for a left handed mid price bow all over the gulf coast. I even shot some bows that were out of my price range. I paid $549. for the bow and about $200.00 for my accessories.
Things I like about the hoyt avenger Bows: The Avenger shoots like a dream. Ive shot all the high end bows out there recently and I wouldnt trade any of them for this bow. I am shooting pie plate groups out to 50 yards. It has a smooth draw cycle and is as quiet as any bow i've ever shot.
What I don't like about the hoyt avenger: You should check all the screws on the cams, if one is loose the bow will get a little noisy. If you choose a Alpine Bearclaw Quiver you will have to modify the mount do to cable slide clearance.
Bows avenger quality: The quality is incredible, just as good as Hoyts higher end bows.
avenger summary: This bow is an incredible buy. The loose screw was an easy fix, as well as modifying my new quiver.The bow shoots incredible and is plenty fast.Hoyt could charge alot more and could still sell plenty Avengers. I would recomend this bow to anyone in the market for a new bow regardless of price.
